Currently I work as a PhD researcher at the TU Delft on the project ‘real-time feedback for an improved skating performance’. In this project I try to find the optimal motion for an individual speed skater using biomechanical models. Also the design of measurement equipment in speed skating and real-time feedback systems is part of my job. One of the goals is to create a system that can measure and visualize the power exerted by the skater within a stroke in real-time (like an SRM system on a bike).
The project always gives me new challenges, brings me to special places and meet interesting people. Want to know more? Check out this website, come to one of my talks or follow this blog: www.skatescience.nl
