Eline van der Kruk
Hi! I am a scientist in Biomechanics with a passion for science communication. I work as Assistant Professor at the faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
I am fascinated by the boundaries of human movement – what enables us to move optimally and when do those movements become impaired. This passion led me to establish my research group
BODIES – Biomechanical Optimization of Daily life, Exercise, and Sports.
I am a member of the KNAW Young Academy committed to securing the future of science and scholarship by communicating the value of research and by helping to improve the science system (https://www.knaw.nl/en/about-knaw/young-academy).
